I dont care for the new IM thing though that appears at the bottom of the "home" screen though, its a total resource hog!

Lately I have been super busy fixing up my music sites
my Eurodance Video site

my 80s music video site

by replacing all the videos that youtube disabled the "embedding" code on.

Dailymotion.com is absolutely the BEST site to get your videos from, for that reason.

As many of you already know, I have moved on in my life with my new love Lika.

It has been the most amazing 2 1/2 months of my life and I could'nt be happier.

Chalk this up as a SUCCESSFUL internet hookup.
This brings me to something that raked my nerves a bit today.
I saw yet ANOTHER blog warning of internet dating and one in which stereotypes  in the way that internet users all are dysfunctional.
Of course I had to put my take in on that one:

" (name withheld)
,
I think (name withheld) was closer to the mark when she quoted that maybe online is not a "reliable" way of dating.
The rest of the comments except for one in here, sounds to me like the typical paranoia of todays society.
The media has done a GREAT job of producing an exxagerated panic about "online being dangerous".

If a stupid person who has no insight can not tell how a person is by how they use their words, or consistency, then maybe that person should'nt be online dating.
The use of the phone in conjunction ALSO helps because you may then hear the persons enthusiasm etc..

In a nutshell, people online are NO DIFFERENT THAN PEOPLE OUT THERE LOCALLY.

This stigma that online people are all criminals is most ridiculous and a shallow and stereotypical way of thinking.

I want everybody to stop and do a count of how many people in their own families have computers and go online, and then from that count, tell me how many of those are criminals."

The answer to this was very acceptable which agreed with my stance but noted she didnt think that somebody who is skeptical is necessarily stupid.

I agreed that skepticism is not stupid but paranoia IS.

I want to also mention that I now have more pics of Lika in my albums "pics of Lika" for people to view.

I have a rant for todays blog.
Have any of you ever bought a "pay as you go" phone
just to find out that your phone number on it was previously used and that person that had the number before owed a bill somewhere?

Well, that happened to me and this automated number keeps calling up to 3 times daily and leaving messages on my voice mail....which costs me minutes to clear it out, and no way to delete it without hearing it FIRST.

Nothing can be done about this.

I want to do a shout out for my friends Alex
and Texts, Drugs n Rock n Roll

These are two awesome guys who have been through a lot in their life and are great people to know.
In light of some recent problems you have had, heres a song to have fun with, and I mean this in a GOOD way:

Jill? I know you're out there too and I have'nt forgotten about you, and same with you Pamela and any other of my friends I have'nt been to visit lately. On the gizmo front, I had the pleasure of seeing my first electric lawnmower. Lika has one here and I went to mow the lawn with it. Has anybody else seen these before? They are literally a fan turned sideways with a blade that cuts and made of metal rather than the plastic fan blades...lol I was beginning to wonder if I would have to turn a crank handle to start it. Lika joked it was probably made in "mousepower" instead of horsepower. Well I will close this blog down for now with a Eurodance video.
