OMG I was just thinking about that sort of thing. I know CC is right to a point...sometimes (as in the case of Andrew) keeping any dialogue open and/or mentioning them feeds them and yes ecourages them to continue the way they are. And whilst CC is also right in saying that sociopaths cannot be reasoned with she's wrong in saying that complete ignoring is the way to handle them. They are dangerous people and people NEED to be made aware of them so they can avoid them. PLUS sociopaths will only truly keep communication open with people they can manipulate. Those that recognise them and show clearly they aren't afraid of them and wont let them play their games are dangerous to the sociopath because they are the ones who can expose them for who and what they are.....and they cant risk that. Which is why DooDoo is not a sociopath as such....even though he fits the criteria to a "T"....he's got way bigger issues than mere sociopathy.
