You liberals want the minority to triumph over the majority. That is why whenever a referendum rules against gay marriage, the liberals go to the courts to overturn the will of the people.

I see. So if another culture practices human sacrifice and pederasty then that's OK, right? Clearly, then, it wasn't for us to say that Hitler's liquidation of the Jews was wrong; because there is no right or wrong with different cultures according to you. They just live their lives a "different way." If men want to cut out womens' clitorises, poor acid on their faces, beat them, and murder them for dishonoring the family by dating a boy from another tribe, then that's perfectly fine.

You are so dense. Hitler was a bad seed, obviously.
There are clearly right and wrongs in different cultures, with murder being a WRONG!
Cutting of the clit, while i don't agree with it, is a ritual in which women practice with their daughters,
it's not forced upon them by men.
Oh and the Bible quotes that it is ok to kill daughters or women who dishonor their family. Hypocrite much?

"And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire." (Leviticus 21:9)

You have to do better than that if you wish to use moral equivalence.

Firtsly, Nazism is not a culture, bringing it into the argument is a red herring.

Secondly Leviticus 21  deals with rules for the priests, not with women per se and indeed as you quoted, it deals with daughters of priests, not every woman AND most important, in Judaism, death punishment is ALWAYS the domain of God not man.

Islam is a religion, not a culture or a race. As much as Islam is a violent region, particularly towards women, female circumcision is a cultural custom, not a religious one. Not all Muslim practice it AND there are non-Muslim, mainly in Africa, who do practice genital mutilation including, but not limited to, female circumcision, e.g  Ethiopian Christians.

You are right though that genital mutilation is always performed by other female, usually with the participation of mother but can also be performed by other women.

Wrong.  It is the men that demand the clit be removed to insure she will not be tempted to leave her future husband.  I cannot believe you are defending this mutilation.  You cannot be this dumb.

Trust me I need people who are prepared to say STFU Hamish as friends, because I am intending to break the law, on my blog I am going to name the pedeophiles rapists and murders who have court ordered name suppression in New Zealand and explain my blog is public and give the authiorities its address a lot of bloggers are doing this in NZ. Ryder, You want wealth of information without wasting money on the crap you expouse, with not so much eloquence, then read the Bible (and don't say you read it and understand it, it is clear by your comments).  3 years anywhere does not an expert make.  I lived 15 years in the Caribbean and now 28 in the US.  So, I am a Sage with volumes more of wealth of information on US and Caribbean affairs.  You should be listening to me.  3 years in nothing.

Take some advice, just reading Proverbs alone will give you most of the guidance you need for everyday living.  Defending of fools and their folly is not the smart thing to do.  No matter how you want to rationalize it.  Enjoy

Stonning to death punishment for non virgin women.
22.20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel, (unmarried women)
22.21 then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die, because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house; so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

Death punishment for adultery.

22.22 “If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman and the woman; so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.
Stoning to death punishment for virgin women for adultery.
22.23 If a damsel who is a virgin be betrothed unto a husband, and a man find her in the city and lie with her,
22.24 then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones, that they die — the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city, and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbor’s wife; so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
Stoning for blasphemy
Leviticus 24:10-16 Now an Israelite woman's son, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the people of Israel; and the Israelite woman's son and a man of Israel quarreled in the camp, and the Israelite woman's son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. And they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelo'mith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. And they put him in custody, till the will of the LORD should be declared to them. And the LORD said to Moses, "Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him. And say to the people of Israel, Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin. He who blasphemes the name of the LORD shall be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him; the sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.
Leviticus 24:23 So Moses spoke to the people of Israel; and they brought him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. Thus the people of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses
Stoning for stubborn and rebellious sons
Deuteronomy 21:18-21 "If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and, though they chastise him, will not give heed to them, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gate of the place where he lives, and they shall say to the elders of his city, `This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.' Then all the men of the city shall stone him to death with stones; so you shall purge the evil from your midst; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

Jacob, I can't believe that you don't think a single woman has ever been stoned to death as a consequence of what it says in the Bible! Do you think all those laws were never enforced? And while bombs and aircraft are modern inventions, there are plenty of Old Testament examples of what we would now consider to be war crimes: the killing of non-combatants on a massive scale.

There are many things that were common in Biblical times that we don't practice todays, it is called progress.

You cannot apply today's values to Biblical times and I suspect that you know it. The fact remain that no Jew straps bombs onto kids and send them to blow themselves up reciting the Bible.

But you see Muslim do it these very days.

It won't let me reply to your other comment, or many other people's either, for some reason. So I'll do so here.

You said "I understand when you give up and slam them."

I'm glad to see someone understands my burden. Seriously, how many times can you hear someone say two plus two is five, and politely say no it's not, it's four (and this is why it's four), before you finally have enough and say, "you're a moron stfu already?"

They have no legitimate rebuttal. All they can do is cite my 'lack of civility' (because their impermeable mental turbidity exhausted my patience) which is not an argument. (Leftists always do this; act as if the fact someone judging their behavior is human "proves" something which in some way validates their immoral beliefs and lifestyles.) The fact that I say two plus two is four "impolitely" doesn't change the fact I'm correct. What they're basically arguing is that my rudeness negates my assertions and makes me no better than those I criticize; which is akin to arguing that a man who calls a rapist a "piece of sh*t rapist" is no better than the bastard he ridicules.

But I'm supposed to just sit here and keep banging my head against their wall of idiocy with a smile. And if I don't I, not the baby-killing puke I'm rebuking, am the "bad person."

This all, if anything, should be a lesson on why it's impossible to have a coherent discussion with a relativist. God bless Sabrina for her perseverance in suffering such cretins; I simply don't have it in me to do the same. I mean these are people whose beliefs are virtually completely untethered to either reason or any sense of their historical identity. Talking to them is like being doused by a fire hose of pure stupid. I can only take so much before it starts to wrinkle my skin and I need to take a break.

It's important for all Christians to understand something though. These people, and their damnable schemes, are contingent upon Christian apathy to reach fruition. They, even the stupid ones on some level, know this. It's therefore crucial to their agenda that Christians do not know this, and are kept unaware of their power, lest their lethargy wear off resulting in marxism being strangled in this country. That's the reason they're always aggressively working to keep Christians sedated, to pacify their moral outrage, by convincing them it's their "religious duty" to tolerate evil. The day we stop "tolerating" them is the day they are effing over.

..It's not about justifying the Qur'an or defending it... i'm one of its biggest critics. It's about seeing where the responsibility lies... not in a book, but people's twisting of the contents of the book. If you've read the Qur'an, you know there are some parts of it that are positive and promote peace and love... and there are parts with war and violence. If someone focuses on only the aspects that nurture their inbred hate... of course it will lead to hateful fundamentalism.

People do it with the bible all the time, but I wouldn't blame a book for the actions a person takes.
